After an unexpected weekend off due to a lack of sponsorship, Tina Gordon and her #31 Brevak Racing Dodge team are looking forward to returning to the track this weekend in Milwaukee for the GNC Live Well 200. The team is still actively seeking a partner for Microtel Inns & Suites to be a CO-primary sponsor for the remainder of the 2003 season.

This weekend's race is extra special for team owners Bob and Shelly Brevak since they make their home in Ashland, Wisconsin. They are looking forward to a homecoming with many friends and family members present who don't usually get to attend the races.

This weekend also marks the 31st year since the Brevaks raced their first USAC blacktop race at the Milwaukee Mile. It was 31 years ago that they ran the No. 34 1972 Dodge Charger with a 426 Hemi engine at Milwaukee. Thirty-one years after having to go to North Carolina to get some Hemi parts from Petty Enterprises, Bob Brevak finds himself back running a Dodge and getting engines from Maurice Petty and Associates.

The team has had some good finishes at the home track. The best finish with Bob driving was second to the late Dean Roper in a combined USAC/ARCA event in 1984. Brad Mueller, a short track ace from Random Lake, Wisconsin, posted the team's best truck finish at Milwaukee with a 15th in 2001.

Bob and Shelly Brevak are proud to be returning to The Milwaukee Mile with Tina Gordon behind the wheel of the No. 31 3M Scotch Transparent Duct Tape/Microtel Inns Dodge. "We're looking forward to a great weekend and are hoping for a solid top ten finish," said Shelly Brevak.

This will be the first trip to Milwaukee for rookie Tina Gordon who is currently 21st in overall points and fourth in rookie points in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
