Microtel Inns & Suites has been a proud sponsor of Tina Gordon for the past two years. In March of 2004, Tina Gordon was involved in an accident during the race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. She suffered a concussion and a broken leg. However, in less than two months of the accident, Tina was behind the wheel once again. She has participated in truck races in Martinsville, VA, Mansfield, OH and Charlotte, NC and has placed 30th, 34th and 25th respectively. Currently, she ranks 26th in the truck series standings.
Despite her impressive performance, Tina has decided to move on from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. She is now pursuing new opportunities better suited to her driving skills. Although race fans will no longer watch Tina circle the track in her No. 13 truck, fans will be watching her circle the track in the #39 Yahoo!, Microtel and Vassarette Busch Series car beginning with the race in Daytona, FL.
We applaud Tina’s numerous achievements and are confident she will approach her future with her usual determination and commitment. We will continue to support Tina in her upcoming races.
