VASSARETTE AND TINA GORDON RACE AGAINST ABUSE
05-12-04
On May 19th, 2004 from 11 to 3 p.m., Vassarette spokesperson Tina Gordon, will be racing against time at the Concord Wal Mart to raise money for a local Charlotte, NC women's abuse charity called CVAN (Cabara Victim Assistance Network).
While in town to participate in the HARDEES 200 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Tina Gordon will be making an appearance at the Concord Wal Mart at 150 Concord Commons Blvd. on behalf of Vassarette, a brand of fun and sexy women's intimates, to raise awareness and money for CVAN. Tina's lucky # 13 Chevy truck will be parked outside the entrance to the store.
Vassarette and Tina will be providing another benefit to women of Charlotte. With over 7 out of 10 women in this country wearing the wrong bra size, Vassarette will be bringing professional fitters to help women determine their correct size. Once women are wearing their correct size, they will avoid back, neck and shoulder problems, something they may not have thought was due to ill-fitting bras. When women start wearing the right size bra they will be more comfortable and have better support all day. For every woman that gets measured, Vassarette will make a donation to CVAN.
Designed as a telethon-like event, Tina will be racing against the clock to get women into the fitting booths. The more women that get fitted, the more money will be raised for this worthy charity. At the end of the 4-hour telethon, a Vassarette check will be presented to the representative of CVAN.
Tina Gordon fans that turn up at the event will also have the opportunity to get a color poster which she will autograph. In addition, she will pose for a photo with fans who line up for this event.
