DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Alabama racer Tina Gordon promises, in her words, that her NASCAR season will be "sexy and fun." The Cedar Bluff driver also is counting on a good run for her first full schedule in NASCAR's truck series.
Vassarette, a maker of women's intimate apparel, announced at Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday that it was signing on as Gordon's primary sponsor for the full season. Its orange colors will be on Gordon's No. 13 truck, fielded by ThorSport Racing, in Friday night's opening race, the Florida Dodge Dealers 250.

"We're for sure running the full series this time," said Gordon, who last year got in only 11 races after sponsorship deals with another team did not materialize. "Things just didn't come together like we had hoped last year. This one is definite."
Gordon also will have a ride for NASCAR's Busch series race at Talladega Superspeedway in April. She has sponsorship from Sticks'N' Stuff furniture for that stock car event.
