Tina Gordon Pre-Race Notes: Lowe's Motor Speedway
Tina Gordon and the No. 31 Brevak Racing Dodge team had a great test last week in Charlotte despite a little interference by Mother Nature. Everyone on the team was pleased with the results and are looking forward to the inaugural Craftsman Truck Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway this Friday night.

Gordon will also be sporting a new associate sponsor beginning with this week's race. Total Race Babe, a Florida-based company, will be on the hood for Charlotte and has also signed on for three other races for the 2003 season.
Tina's quotes: On the test: "I was glad to have the opportunity to test at Charlotte. After all the waiting around for the rain to quit, we finally got out onto the track. From the second we got out there it was very apparent all of the hard work (crew chief) Todd (Myers) and the crew put into readying the truck."

On her team: "Every day I spend with Todd and Howie (Frazier) and all of the crew is another great learning experience for me. These guys are great and teach me so much."

Crew Chief Todd Myers' quotes: On the test: "The truck was rock solid and we are really looking forward to the Charlotte race." On Tina's progress: "As Tina grows in her rookie year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, she is really becoming more aware of her surroundings on the track and of what is going on with her vehicle."

Team owner Shelly Brevak's quotes: On the upcoming race at Lowe's: "The entire crew at Brevak Racing is really looking forward to racing at Lowe's. Our test went well and, with Tina's prior experience on the track in an ARCA car, we will be solid. All the guys have been working very hard at the shop to prepare for this event. I'm confident with Petty powerplants underneath our No. 31 Dodge, we have a very good shot of banking our first top 10 of the season."

Tina Gordon heads to Charlotte in 20th position in the point standings and second in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings.
